As CEO and chairman of the board of Children of America, Thad Pryor brings over 17 years of experience in the child care industry, financial management and marketing to a leading provider of child care services in the U.S.
Pryor founded Children of America in 1998 and has since grown the company to 16 centers in Virginia and Pennsylvania, with plans to expand to more than 330 new centers in the northeast, mid-Atlantic and Midwest over the next decade.
“In creating Children of America, I wanted to build a company with national potential that could provide the very best in early education, safety and child care for busy parents,” Pryor said. “Our expansion plans, when completed, will make Children of America one of the largest company’s of its kind in the U.S.”
Pryor began his career in the child care industry in 1990, serving as a senior vice president and member of the board of directors for a national child care company. He oversaw the company’s development, construction and real estate departments and was instrumental in expanding that company to 150 locations nationwide.
